Kevin Smith, District 8

Kevin Smith has been farming in Marion County for over 30 years, raising corn and soybeans. He has been actively involved in agriculture his entire life.

Alongside farming, Kevin works as the Farm and Construction Manager for Smith Fertilizer and Grain. Throughout the last few years, the business has seen significant growth in the ag retail sector.

Currently Kevin serves on the Iowa Corn Growers Association Director representing District 8 and serves on the Grassroots Network, Membership & Checkoff Committee. In addition, Kevin serves as a trustee for Indiana Township in Marion County.

Kevin and his wife, Lindsey, have two children and are proud to be raising the next generation in agriculture.
