SEPTEMBER STEWARDSHIP ADVOCATE UPDATE

Iowa Corn Sustainable Programs Manager, Ben Gleason, is at Saylorville Lake discussing the environmental benefits, as well as economic benefits that the lake has provided. He talks about a new Conservation Infrastructure Plan that is being developed by the Iowa Agriculture Water Alliance, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, Bill Northey, to help farmers identify economic opportunities associated with conservation practices and their implementation. He also updates you with news about the Atrazine risk assessment.
