10,000 by 2020

The Iowa Corn Growers Association has made it a priority to make it to 10,000 members in the year 2020. In the 2016/2017 year, we had a total of 440 new members join to date. 78 of those new members came from our membership efforts, but not from someone recruiting them. 362 of new members joined the Iowa Corn family because they were asked - thus the importance of the 'personal ask'.
Our membership materials only reach so far, so I am personally asking you to ask your friends, family, neighbors, any businesses that have a link to agriculture - if they are interested in joining us as members of this great organization. As we make our way to 10,000, I encourage all - whether you are a director, committee member, district leader, staff member, or county leader to recruit a minimum of 5 members by the end of August. Currently, we have 7,283 members and we are striving for 8,000 by August 31st. Own the notion of increased membership as your legacy in our organization. Be a part of reaching 10,000!
