Today marks the start of the 2014 Iowa State Fair! With so much to do at the fair, here are some highlights you don't want to miss!
Throughout the fair, be sure to stop by and see Iowa Corn in the agricultural building in the FarmVille exhibit on August 7and 10. This exhibit was put together by the Iowa Department of Agriculture an Land Stewardship (IDALS) and Iowa Commodity groups and is dedicated to educating consumers about the Iowa Water Quality Initiative and the steps farmers are taking to improve Iowa's water quality. There will also be a green screen within the area, so be sure to stop by and get your picture taken in front of a variety of agricultural backgrounds, including a "corn field." The green screen is one of the top 3 things to see at the fair this year and Iowa Corn is proud to be a sponsor.
