Sarah will assist Iowa Corn by coordinating outreach activities, the Collegiate Advisory Team’s trip to Corn Congress, Northwest Iowa Dairy Days, Iowa State Fair activities and other special events and communications requests.
Natalina will be coordinating activities for the Iowa Corn Indy 300 on July 12, coordinating pump promotions throughout Iowa and assisting with other special events related to ethanol.
Tweeten is a senior at Iowa State University, majoring in Agricultural Communications with a minor in Journalism. She is active in many student organizations, including the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Ambassadors, Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority and the ISU Corn Growers Club.
Sents is a junior at Iowa State University, majoring in Agricultural Business. She is active in a great number of student organizations, including Student Federation for Agriculture, National Agri Marketing Association, and Agricultural Business Club.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to intern with the Iowa Corn Growers Association. I am excited to intern with an organization that positively impacts corn producers around the state,” said Tweeten. “I am excited about the opportunity to learn more about Iowa Corn and the ways in which corn is used to make food and ethanol,” said Sents.
Sarah is most excited to assist the communications department and improve upon her agricultural knowledge. Being able to connect with farmers throughout Iowa is one thing that excites Sarah the most. Natalina is excited to help the market development depart promote ethanol and the great things it is doing for our state.
Growing up in Iowa has taught both of them a lot about agriculture but Iowa Corn is excited to expand their knowledge and teach them more about corn!
