“As our technology advances, many important humane behaviors are lost to save time and cost.  Marketing specially of consumable products is quite different, the direct contact is crucial to facilitate confidence, respect and support among business people.  There no replacement to a hand shake and the time discussing details on a trade endeavors.

This week mission in Taiwan and Korea to roll our U.S. Grains Council Corn Quality Crop report for 2013/2014 has been a success not because of the excellent results from our assessment on our crop but more due to our capacity to communicate with our customers directly in meetings exchanging information, experiences and answering different concerns, inquiries, etc.  The fact that staff from Iowa Corn and actual producers where present in this roll out enhance and improved significant our relations with our partners in Asia, allowing a clear and transparent flow of information, not found in any news article or industry report, but because our farmers were able to speak directly on their experiences and expectations on our US production, permitting our customers have first had information from the source.

This week’s experience reflect the success of such missions with actual purchases executed but local importers of US corn crop and by the satisfaction express from our partners in the part of the Globe, on the data and experiences shares and discussed during the course of a week on 1 on 1 meetings and conferences.”

USGC looks forward on a continue collaboration with our industry leaders in promoting and strengthening our grain promotion in our international markets.
