Iowa DOT Educates Farmers About New U.S. DOT Exemptions

Posted on April 4, 2013 at 11:05 AM by Iowa Corn

Yesterday, at an event held in Goldfield, Iowa and sponsored by Wright County Corn Growers and Wright County Trucks the Iowa DOT Training Officer, Steven Robinson, presented new U.S. DOT exemptions for farm vehicles operating within 150 miles from home. The Iowa DOT also reviewed existing rules, regulations and load securement for farm trucks.

About 75 farmers gathered for the event and great conversations were generated.
