Emily Lynch - Iowa CommonGround Volunteer

Emily Lynch is a CommonGround volunteer living in Humboldt, Iowa with her husband and two children. She is a graduate from Iowa Central Community College. You may not see Emily working in her family’s corn and soybean fields each day, as she works as a legal secretary in a law office. However, when Emily is on the farm she enjoys serving as the chief meal planner, managing the financials, and serving as the food and kid delivery person.

Emily says she likes to get to the heart of the matter quickly and efficiently and also likes to better understand the way people feel and think. Communicating to urban or suburban moms about where their food comes from is a perfect way for Emily to get her message out.
