Stephanie Essick - Iowa CommonGround Volunteer

Stephanie Essick is a CommonGround volunteer living in Dickens, Iowa with her husband and son.  She is a graduate from Iowa State University with a degree in Agri Business.  She puts her degree to good use every day working alongside her father, producing corn, soybeans and hay.  As a fourth generation farmer, Stephanie understands the importance of getting the message out about the foods that farmers produce.  Stephanie enjoys farming because it allows for diversity, each day is always different.

Stephanie is committed to CommonGround to provide urban consumers a chance to see where their food comes from and trust the farmers who grow it.  When Stephanie isn't farming, she enjoys photography, hunting, boating, biking and snowmobiling with her family.
