This week, our recipe is from Sharon Greif of Monticello in eastern Iowa. She and her husband, Jim, grow corn and soybeans, custom farm and operate Prairieview Ag Service, which sells seed and chemicals and provides precision ag services. Jim is currently a director for the Iowa Corn Growers Association.
They have three grown children. Sharon raises and rides Arabian horses. Her newest venture is learning the art of Dressage. She serves on the state board for the Iowa Arabian Horse Association. She is a past state director for Iowa Women in Agriculture.
Jim collects and restores Rumely Oil pull tractors. These tractors were built between 1900 and 1931 in LaPorte, IN. He currently serves on the national board for the Rumely Products Collectors Club. His collection also includes a few antique John Deere and Farmall tractors.
Sharon obtained this recipe from her cousin nearly 30 years ago.
