ICPB Chair, Dick Gallagher, recently returned from a trade mission to China. Dick thought the trip was an eye opening and positive experience. “I was astonished at the amount of quality farmland, and corn produced in the northeast region of China. The farmland is great, but space as everyone knows, is the issue. We were in a city that was considered “less dense” than most and were in an area the size of Chicago with 9 million people in it. A key issue is keeping trade with China as they continue to grow, and in turn helping to boost our economy.”
