Greg Alber

Greg Alber has been farming for over 35 years outside of Independence in Buchanan County growing corn and soybeans as well as a cow/calf operation.

He currently serves on the Iowa Corn Promotion Board as the Office At-Large and  on the Exports & The Grain Trade Committee.

Greg is also treasurer of the Buchanan County Corn & Soybean Association and serves on the Asia Action Team for the U.S. Grain Council. In past experiences, he has served as president of Buchanan County Corn and Soybean Association as well as the Buchanan Farm Bureau. 

Greg is a member of the Iowa Corn Growers Association, National Corn Growers Association, Iowa Soybean Association and the Iowa Farm Bureau. Greg and his wife, Susie, have two children that farm.
