Carl Jardon farms near Randolph in Fremont County where he raises corn and soybeans and backgrounds Holstein heifers. He has been farming for 37 years and uses no-till conservation practices on his farm.
Carl currently serves as the Iowa Corn Growers Association Vice President and sits on the Grassroots Network, Membership & Checkoff Committee.
He is a Fremont County Soil and Water Conservation Commissioner, a member of the Fremont County Corn and Soybean Association, the Iowa and National Holstein Associations and the Fremont County Farm Bureau. Carl has served on the Prairie State Select Sires Board, the Fremont County Extension Council, the Fremont County Fair Board and was a member of the School Improvement Advisory Committee for the Farragut Elementary & Nishnabotna High School. He also participated in the Holstein Foundations Young Dairy Leadership Institute and enjoyed serving as a 4-H leader.
He is also a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Carl graduated from Iowa State University. He and his wife Denise, have two children.
