Will is a fifth-generation farmer and cattlemen in southwest Iowa. He and his father own and operate the family farm together where they raise corn, soybeans, alfalfa, beef cow/calf pairs, along with a small feedlot. Will strives to produce safe, high quality, and economical food in an ever-changing global economy while focusing on technological advances using the best animal husbandry techniques and being a good steward of the land. In addition to Will’s production agriculture operations, he also serves as the alternate district director for District 17 of the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, a board member of the Fremont/Page County Corn and Soybean Growers. Will is an alumnus of Kansas State University where he majored in agricultural economics with a farm and ranch management specialty.
