Ross is a fourth-generation member of his family’s diversified farming operation where they raise cattle, hogs, corn, and soybeans. He is the farm’s operations manager, which includes oversight of the cattle feedlots, shop projects, agronomy operation, as well as the feed and pig trucking schedules. He graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College in 2010 with a degree in ag business tech. Ross is currently serving as president of his local rescue squad, treasurer of the Lyon County Cattlemen’s board, and various positions in his church. In his little spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, building model rockets, and visiting relatives in Kansas and southeast Iowa. Ross and his wife, Abby, have 3 boys Khye, Kamden, and Kian.
