Jake Swanson currently serves as the Agriculture Policy Adviser to Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds. This position allows him to collaborate with Iowa lawmakers, advocate for the Iowa agriculture industry, and travel to all 99 counties in Iowa. Jake completed his Bachelor’s degree from Iowa State’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and his Master’s in public health from Emory University. He is the seventh-generation to work his family’s farm in Wapello County and stays involved in the operation today. Jake and his wife, Morgan, enjoy exploring the outdoors and traveling.
