Jacob Handsaker

Jacob was raised on the family farm in Radcliffe where he still lives today with his wife, Mindy and their four children Myles, 7 Ellie 5, William 3 and Kimber 1. They are proud of the fact that their children are living in the same house as their great-great grandparents. Jacob graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's degree in agricultural studies and a minor in entomology.  He currently farms with his father and two brothers raising corn, soybean, sweet corn and peas in central Iowa. They also custom feed pigs in three finishing buildings. In 2010, Jacob and his brothers started Hands On Tiling and Excavating where they focus on field tile installation and conservation projects. Jacob is a board member of the Hardin County Farm Bureau, Hardin County Corn Growers Association and serves on the local volunteer fire department and ambulance service. In his spare time he enjoys camping with family and friends and an occasional ISU sporting event.
