Dillon grew up on a third-generation farm by Radcliffe where he and his family raised corn and hogs. He attended Iowa State University and received his bachelor’s degree in agronomy with a focus on crop and business management. Following Iowa State, he moved to southwest Iowa and played a role in opening a new region as a district sales manager for Beck’s Hybrids. Since then he has had the opportunity to move home and now works and resides in central Iowa as a seed advisor for Beck’s, where he continues to work with area dealers and farmers in Hamilton, Hardin and Franklin counties. He resides on his farm outside of Radcliffe where he runs a small Dorset sheep flock. Dillon is a member of the Radcliffe Volunteer Fire Department and Cornerstone Church of Ames where he has done agriculture mission work in Africa and enjoys being involved in other community events. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, traveling, snowmobiling and helping his brother farm.
