Iowa Corn. Creating opportunities for Iowa Corn GrowersCorn Use & Education
Corn Use & Education
Fun for Kids
Iowa's heritage is rich with agriculture, and its future depends on the industry. In fact, Iowa's farm, food, and agriculture-affiliated industries account for nearly 25% of the state's total industrial output, the largest contribution by any single industry (source: Iowa State University). Unfortunately, most young Iowans are several generations removed from the farm and know little about modern farming in Iowa.

These materials were developed to teach about Iowa's corn industry and the important ways corn makes a difference in everyday products. In addition, links are provided to several other fun sites for kids and educators to learn about agriculture.
