Dancing with the Stars winner and driver, Helio Castronevas sang the praises of ethanol when we traveled to Iowa last year. The winner of the 2008 Iowa Corn Indy 250, Dan Wheldon saw the benefits of ethanol first hand when he drove to the winner's circle.

The Iowa Corn Promotion Board and the Iowa Corn Growers Association used the race in 2008 to talk to the world about ethanol, but they were also able to talk to consumers and the tiny role that corn plays in the rising cost of food at the grocery store. The debate is not about food or fuel, but rather, food AND fuel.
